SENSITIVE SKINCARE

What Is Sensitive Skin?

Sensitive skin reacts easily to external triggers – skincare products, temperature changes, stress, or pollution. It often shows redness, burning, itching, or tightness. The skin barrier is weakened, which means it needs extra gentle, thoughtful care.

Core Skincare Steps for Sensitive Skin

  • Minimalist routine – Less is more. Limit the number of products you use and introduce new ones slowly, one at a time.
  • Gentle cleansing – A fragrance-free micellar water or soft gel cleanser without SLS or alcohol.
  • Ceramide-rich moisturiser – Rebuilds the skin barrier and reduces reactivity over time.
  • Soothing ingredients – Panthenol, aloe vera, centella asiatica, and oat extract calm inflammation and redness.
  • Mineral SPF – Mineral sunscreens (zinc oxide, titanium dioxide) are gentler on reactive skin than chemical filters.

What to Avoid

Fragrances, high-concentration alcohol, strong exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), high-dose retinol, and products with long ingredient lists. When in doubt, patch test first.

How to Introduce New Products Safely

Always test a new product on a small area of skin (behind the ear or inner wrist) for 24–48 hours before applying it to your face. Introduce one product at a time so you can easily identify any reactions.

Key Active Ingredients

Ceramides, panthenol (provitamin B5), centella asiatica, aloe vera, low-concentration niacinamide, hyaluronic acid.
